Weather Situation: A high pressure system will move further southeast of Tasmania during this evening, while a new high will move over the south of the continent over the coming days, maintaining a ridge of high pressure over Queensland. The ridge will maintain fine and sunny conditions through most of Queensland over the next few days. Cool, dry air extends through most of the state with widespread morning frosts over southern and central Queensland during the coming days, extending into parts of the northern interior tomorrow morning.
